The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking engineering with a good theoretical and design background in network communications. Knowledge of IT security devices and concepts (VPN's, Firewalls) with experience of network design in Linux/Unix and virtualised environments (eg Vmware) is essential.

You will be able to support the network management and coordination through network design activities which include requirements management and verification processes in the network subsystems ensuring consistency, traceability and compliance at contractor and customer level.

The successful candidate will manage the technical issues associated with the design and implementation of the networks within the architecture development through to deployment, integration and acceptance by the customer.

Also you will have the ability to support the other issues of systems and implementation within the project engineering team in areas of proposal generation, analysis, defined task descriptions and schedules etc.
